Sec. 54-57. Parking prohibited during specified months.
It is unlawful for any person to park any vehicle on any street between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. from the first day of November in each year to the first day of April in the next succeeding year. The streets around the Alma College area are signed for no overnight parking between the hours of 2a-7am from the first day of September in each year to the first day of April in then next succeeding year.
Sec. 54-106. Established; supervision, control by chief of police.
A parking violations bureau for the purpose of handling alleged parking violations within the city is hereby established. The parking violations bureau shall be under the supervision and control of the chief of police.
Sec. 54-110. Offenses; penalties.
Any peson who violates this Article is responsible for a municipal civil infraction and subject to the civil fines enumerated in Chapter 30 (Below). If unpaid within 10 days of notice, each civil fine specified in Chapter 30 shall be doubled. Any vehicle whose registered owner has been the subject of 5 or more default judgements of responsibility for a civil infraction under this Article shall be subject to impound, and shall not be released to its owner until each such judgement is satisfied and all cost of impound are paid.
